Singers of United Lands Repertoire

I am working hard to find choral music of Estonia, Haiti, Oceania, and Venezuala. Suggestions are welcome! Check out this year's SOUL singers at the link below and to the right:

Some of my friends and former conductors suggested the following:

"Ingrian Evenings" by Veljo Tormis (Estonia)
"Magnificat" or "Nunc Dimmitis" by Arvo Part (Estonia)

"Mata del Anima" by Antonia Estevez (Venezuela)

On Earthsongs there are some folk songs from the Phillipines that I thought could work for us.

When I was at Grinnell, we performed "Curse Upon Iron" by Tormis, which is quite dissonant and dramatic. I loved it, but it may not be a good fit for us.

Estonia and Venezuela have robust classical (and folk) choral traditions. With only seven rehearsals - and Mardi Gras in between - we probably can't do justice to the excellent repertoire you have listed. The Tormis and Pärt are definitely too hard for us!
Thanks for the response - and sorry that I'm just responding now. I'm still getting used to the RW nature of blogging and still figuring out what needs to be checked when...
